PVP Coders

This was my very first class of the year at NSVV Girls Higher Secondary School, and it could not have been a better start. The students were immediately curious and eager to dive in as we began learning how to build robots from the ground up. Piece by piece, they carefully assembled their robots, helping one another along the way and problem-solving whenever they hit a challenge. Once the robots were built, they quickly picked up on the basics of block coding—making their creations move forward, backward, left, and right, and even change colors. What struck me the most was their enthusiasm. Every success, whether big or small, was met with smiles, laughter, and encouragement from their classmates. They weren’t just following instructions—they were experimenting, testing boundaries, and bringing their own creativity into the process. For a first session, their teamwork and excitement set such a positive tone. This was only the first of three days I’ll be spending with them, but it already feels like the start of something special. If this class is any indication, the next two days will be filled with even more discoveries, challenges, and breakthroughs. I can’t wait to see how far they’ll go with their ideas and what kind of innovations they’ll bring to life with their robots.
