Day two at NSVV Girls Higher Secondary School was all about persistence, problem-solving, and creativity. The students began by programming their mBots to move in a square, a task that required plenty of trial and error. They quickly discovered how small changes in timing or angles could make a big difference, and it was inspiring to watch them test, adjust, and refine their code until their robots moved just right. Once they mastered the square, we took things up a notch with an obstacle course challenge. Their goal was to program the mBot to weave through the course in a figure eight. This required even more patience and attention to detail, but the students embraced the challenge and worked together to troubleshoot every problem they encountered. What stood out most to me was how much effort they put into improving their code and expanding on what they had learned. They weren’t satisfied with just making the robot move—they wanted to make it move better, smoother, and more creatively. It is truly amazing to see how much interest they have, how quickly they are learning, and how determined they are to push themselves further. Day 2 out of 3 complete, and I can’t wait to see how they finish strong on the last day!
